Our disinfection process utilizes a pure ClO₂ solutions, it can be used on most hard surfaces (including food prep surfaces), as well as fabrics, carpets and upholsteries.
Air Defense AZ is to proud to offer a wide variety of effective disinfection fogging and decontamination techniques with dedicated COVID-19 disinfectant equipment.
Ultra Low Volume (ULV): Air Defense AZ has dedicated ULV disinfection equipment, meaning they’ve never been used for anything else, like pesticides. ULV is known as “cold fogging,” this disinfection approach creates particles ranging from 10-75 microns, creating a fog like mist that uses gravity to make contact with hard to reach places. Our ULV equipment averages 50 microns, well below the industry average of 75 microns.
High Pressure Atomization: Air Defense AZ utilizes an industry leading electric sprayer that atomizes particles using high pressure, which ensures a 50 micron average. This is best used for high traffic areas where an easy spray application is preferred. Beware of disinfectant services that utilize low-pressure hand-pumped sprayers commonly used for herbicide and pesticide spraying applications which can lead to over application, surface saturation, and water damage/staining.
Real Electrostatic Fog Spraying: Air Defense AZ utilizes a high pressure electrostatic system (pictured) with patented sprayer technology which is unparalleled in the sector. This application is effective because disinfectant solution particles are electrostatically charged, these droplets are attracted to objects (like static) and wrap around them, creating a “3-D” spraying approach.
Thermal Fogging: utilizes high pressure and heat to create a true “warm fog” with a 5 micron average. Best utilized for large open spaces, both indoor and outdoor. Air Defense has deployed this solution in large spaces such as warehouses and correctional facilities.
